Shellfishing
Current Massachusetts shellfishing regulations are available from the Division of Marine Fisheries.
Shellfish beds in Falmouth are monitored by the Town Shellfish Department. Shellfish permits are available at the Collector's window at Falmouth Town Hall, and may be obtained from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

If you're new shellfishing or simply need to replace some worn-out equipment, Eastman's stocks a full line of clamming and lobstering gear. We have a variety of quahog and steamer rakes; galvanized baskets in 10-qt, half-bushell and bushell sizes; Styrofoam float rings for the 10-qt basket; clamming and lobster gauges; and a large selection of neoprene and rubber waders and gloves. In addition, we have fully-rigged lobster traps; all you need get is your recreational lobster license from the state.
